San Francisco to Amsterdam

We headed out for SFO at about 8:30am when Tim's friend Mahan gave us a ride all the way.

There was an amazing exhibition at SFO on The History of Flight Attendants uniforms that I LOVED!

Particularly the uniforms from the 1950s.

We made it through TSA at had only a little time to get something to eat at a restaurant called Firewood.

The boys and I all had pizzas. There was a terrible choice for good at our terminal.

Il Fornaio or this pizza place, although my mushroom pizza was quite good.

Our flight left at 2:00p and has the most cramped legroom I've ever seen! But we sat 4 in a row in the middle and that was nice. I saw several movies, including Allegient, Silence of the Lambs, and some of the new Star Wars, as well as an episode of Friends and Big Bang Theory.

I slept a little but not much. We didn't get to order special meals for the flight although they had a vegetarian option of a pasta dish that Ewan enjoyed. It was quite cheezy so I didn't partake.

We arrived in Amsterdam around 9:00am and customs was a breeze here. We took a taxi to our hotel and dropped off our luggage then went exploring. We headed to Albert Cuypt Flea Market and got some waffle cookies and cheese. We stopped first at a little place called NEL and had some food.
